Project Management

Risk Management

For over 20 years, RAMJAC has enabled project success through the implementation of best-of-breed systems and practices to minimize project risk, and enhance project performance.

Projects are a direct result of strategic planning for a business. When a project fails it often creates exposure for the business and its owners. For a business to truly realize the benefits of any project it must ensure that the right people, tools, processes and procedures are in place to shield and safeguard itself from risks becoming reality.

RAMJAC provides the people, tools, processes, and procedures to create the necessary defensive barriers at both program and project level to minimize corporate risk and enhance performance.

Planning and Execution

Several acquisition disciplines are essential to establishing and operating an integrated EVM process within the acquisition life cycle, especially Program Management, Systems Engineering, Cost Estimating, Risk Management, and Procurement.

Integrated Product Teams should devote the planning time needed to create an adequate Work Breakdown Structure at program initiation and to keep it current throughout program execution.

The program or project acquisition life cycle starts with concept analysis progressing through technology definition, requirements planning, acquisition, and finally through operations or management.

RAMJAC provides expert support at all stages of the Acquistion life-cycle.

There are different methodologies PMs can implement to track a project’s progress, but one methodology has been proven to be more accurate at tracking performance, as well as offering predictions for the future of a project, and that’s earned value management (EVM).

An EVM analysis answers the following four key questions:

How does the existing management processes comply with the ANSI/EIA 748?

Are there policies and procedures in place and our personnel following the processes?

Does the supporting program management systems provide the data required to support ANSI/EIA 748?

If any of the above does not support ANSI/EIA 748, what must be done to bring them into compliance?
